Hey guys,
Motherboard is a Z77E-ITX
CPU is a 3570K
Video card is 660 TI
SSD is Samsung 850 Evo
I managed to get to the installation process, formatted a partition and have a journal for my HFS+ partition, and now I'm getting stuck at the last part where it says there is a second remaining. This is the error:
verifying InstallMacOSX.pkg/InstallESD.dmg, and then it will fail and say that the Yosemite installation files have been tampered with. I need your advice...
Is it because my ESD area does not have write-access to it during this installation? I've checked the date and that's working. Should I attempt this on another disk and manually move everything over to my SSD later? I'm pretty sure it's trying to write files to my FAT32 ESD area and can't, but I figured I'd see if anybody else has any solutions.
Thanks for your time
Edit: I should mention that I will not format my HDD. I've spent a long time perfecting my Windows 8.1/Linux dual-boot and have a Clover setup that reaches the same installation area as my setup USB. I'm thinking about forcing my FAT32 to stay open during the end of the installation so the InstallESD doesn't fail, but it says it's verifying so it's blowing my mind. If I need to, I'll install OSX on to another drive and slowly clone over the partition and manually enter in updated partition information.
